Very good

Very comfortable hotel with excellent transport links

Didnt have breakfast. Evening menu very limited but food itself very good. Staff very pleasant.

Dinner menu did not have a number of dishes available.

The part of the hotel where I was staying was boiling hot (both room and corridors). No A/C in the rooms so had to constantly have the windows open to survive. Wrong description of hotel rooms? Despite staying in the superior twin room, there was no bathtub or A/C. The large bed were just two single beds put together so the sleep was not comfortable.

Very solid hotel in a convenient location

Location was great, tucked away on a street that isn't in the throngs of the touristy area, but close enough by subway/quick taxi/longer walk to many of the big sights. Our room was very clean and was big enough for three of us (all friends). Felt safe, comfortable, and convenient. We would recommend for any friends or couple looking for a solid hub for a trip to Berlin.

Our room looked out onto the parking lot of the building next door, but this was fine for us, we weren't expecting sweeping views.

A very warm welcome

The facilities are amazing - gym and sauna included with the standard stay is huge for this price point. Rooms are large and well-equipped with all the modcons like TV, slippers, bathrobes and towels. You can also request different pillows from reception if the provided one is too soft. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and you'll definitely find something you'll like in there. Location is also perfect - central Berlin with everything worth visiting within walking distance (or a quick S-Bahn trip). But don't worry, it's well insulated enough that you won't hear the traffic.

It was well too hot in the hotel! Even with us leaving our room windows open all day long (in December!), we'd come back at the end of the day to a humid and uncomfortably hot room. And no, despite the hotel rooms having air con, the note in the room states that it will only blow hot air in winter, meaning we couldn't cool it even if we wanted to. We felt really sick by the end of our stay.
