    I got everything I imagined
Amazing view, location, well-equipped kitchen, air conditioners on each floor, wonderful hostess Paula!
Everything is great, but keep in mind that there are a lot of steps to the apartments. There is a chance to get fit

    Superb
Amazing place especially for a long-term stay!
Almost everything was fantastic! I am so glad that I picked this place over a hotel in downtown. I stayed for a week so I was able to cook every day and enjoy the food and drinks with the fantastic ocean view from the terrace. It was literally the best part of this trip. The house was very cute and cozy, and I really felt like I was "living" there:)
There are a couple of things (which are minor points): - I had a couple of empanadas in a box and left it on the kitchen counter for a night, and the next day, they were covered with small ants... So just be careful not to leave any food there even for a short period of time. - The top of the entrance door has quite a gap so you will hear everything from the street in front (dogs, people, etc.). - It was quite difficult to find where the exact house was by just looking at the instruction and pictures, but it might be just me.

    Exceptional
spacious apartment with fantastic views & location
I spent hours researching our options & so so pleased we went with this accommodation for our first stay in Alicante. The location was amazing for us - in the most beautiful area of Alicante (hence lots of instagramming on our street, which we could watch from the terrace!). Very easy walk down into the town where all the great restaurants and bars were (would particularly recommend La Taberna Iberica- the best food we had in our 6 nights here & is 3 min walk away). Also very easy to get to the market (Mercat Central dAlacant) which is 7 mins walk away and would highly recommend going there (way fresher and cheaper than supermarkets for fruit/bread/meat/ wine etc). Inside the flat, it is beautiful and has everything you need. Despite being quirky its super clean. There is a fully equipped kitchen. We found the washing machine with drying rack and pegs useful, and the air-con gave a natural cool temp to the apartment. It was so comfy and spacious and bright and very clean I actually dont think the photos do this justice (theres even a sea view from bed on the left!) Then there is the terrace.. the reason we booked in first place. Its South facing and has incredible views of the city and sea. It has a tree over it so there is good sun in the morning and then the tree provides nice shade in the afternoon / evening and so we found it was fab for privacy to enjoy breakfast, read our books, and have pre dinner drinks. There were also so many great extras, like the beach towels and mats, which coupled with a very easy walk to get a tram to San Juan Playa(which we thought was way better than the local beach) from Mercado station, this saved us having to spend money on hiring equipment. This review wouldnt be complete without mentioning the host, Paula. She absolutely put us as ease, was great with contact (she sent her number when we booked and I asked a million questions before we got there and during trip!
It is important that you are able bodied for this accommodation. It is essentially on the hill of the castle, which is fab for the walk to castle (only took us 15 mins)& the stunning views from terrace, but it would be very challenging for someone not able bodied to walk from town, particularly in height of summer. As I say, the positives (castle walk and view) massively outweighed walking up after dinner in town/ going to supermarket for water, and so this doesnt change my rating. Just important for others to know!
