Exceptional

Linda the cottage owner was very helpful and went the extra mile to help. The cottage was in an excellent location and had everything we needed for our stay. We became snowed in during our stay and the neighbours helped us out with shovels etc.and Linda made sure the cottage was kept warm and cosy for us.

Fantastic property in a great location

Fantastic property, great location and off road parking was an added bonus. Room sizes were great.

Not having control over the central heating. This is controlled remotely by the property owner. Welcome book advised that heating would come on at 7am however it was not on by 7:20am when the children woke up. Quick message to the owner was responded to promptly, however this is the first property I have stayed in that controls the heating in this manner.

Very good

we could only stay for three nights but we all had a grand time.

Excellent central location, parking for two cars, plenty of choice for cafes, restaurants, pubs, bus station ten minutes away for most local destinations, no need to use your car, you can park it up and catch the bus.

Perfect. We had a lovely time.

The house was great for 6 adults to live in for the week. Nice big front room where we could all meet and we liked the little outside patio. Very well equipped and no shortage of hot water. Very central location yet quiet at night.

Perfect location for a family break in Ambleside

Lovely quiet cottage only a 2 minute walk from the centre on Ambleside town. Clean, comfortable rooms with good facilities. Fantastic car parking on private driveway. So good to stay in a cottage, especially on rainy days!

Nothing, would happily stay here again.

Lovely and inviting!

The home was so inviting when we arrived! It was very helpful to have a binder with all of the pertinent information. My kids loved that there were board games. I love that my walk up to the university was only about 7 minutes. The area was quiet too.

I really have no complaints.

Highly recommend, perfect house in amazing location

Location is amazing close to everything but felt very private too. Has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. Comfy beds and sofa with plenty of room for everyone.
