    We will happily come back to stay again.
    A perfect location with car parking avaliable. The hosts are lovely and the cooked breakfast is perfection. A beautiful immaculate room, a comfortable bed and lovely ensuite. You really feel at home.
    It rained too much! But the guest house has umbrellas!

    Excellent location with free parking. Our room was very comfortable and had obviously recently been refurbished. My daughter is coeliac and there were plenty of gluten free options for breakfast.

    We stayed Oct 6-9th. Really welcoming, lovely owners. It was my partners birthday during our stay and they left a box of chocolates and a note for her when we arrived back from our day out. Highly recommend.

    Great location with secure parking 2 minutes walk away. Excellent comfy room with everything needed included. A good well cooked and served breakfast to start the day. Perfect hosts.

    Fantastic trip to Ambleside. Amazing hosts, comfy bed and fantastic breakfast. We can highly recommend - thanks!
    We loved our stay at Melrose Guest house. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, breakfast was delicious, and youre in the perfect spot for exploring Ambleside with a fab pub just at the top of the road. Parking is a bonus too. Well definitely be back!
