    Exceptional guest house , the staff are wonderful and really nice . could not fault anything at all at this place . Been twice now and would not consider staying anywhere else when visiting the lakes. ( we love the attic room ) such great Value for Money too. See you next time ! Breakfast is spot on too

    A perfect couple of days in a charming guesthouse with everything you need and more!
    The property and room is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It is in the ideal location for walking to both Bowness and Windermere and for accessing walks. Abigail and Andrew were very friendly and seemed to have thought of everything such as: leaving cake and water for your arrival, the mini fridge in your room, handmade bread, allowing you to take handmade muffins for in your walk and their commitment to being green. We felt very spoilt!

    The perfect getaway!
    The property is absolutely lovely, it gives the perfect home away from home effect. The owners contributed to that and made everything that much better. The home made buns and cake given also didnt go a miss! The beds were super comfy and the shower was to die for. I couldnt recommend this place enough, perfectly placed to walk into bowness/Windermere too. We will 100% be coming back.

    Very cozy Lodge and Abigail and Andrew was very friendly. Only 10mins walk to Bowness on Windermere.
    When our toilet was blocked and we needed it, they told us to wait or best to go to a public toilet. Would have been nice if they offered theirs, as public toilets was at least 5mins by car.
