    Large room, quiet location, slow staff, cheesy decoration, internal maze to find reception
    Room was large enough for 3 people. Toilet had a window. Ok view to the top of the cathedral. Location was ok, in a quiet street and close enough to the cathedral. Water pressure for the shower was good.
    Staff unfortunatelly were too slow with paper work and using the software (system and german paperwork probably). There were no spots in the garage so I had to park my car in a weird position inside the garage. The bath shower had a transparent glass door direct to the bedroom, making 3 people (family) uncomfortable to take showers ad everybody could see through the glass. It was a maze at the beginning to find the reception of the hotel, coming from the garage. To go in and out of the bedroom to the street, we had to use 2 lift and walk all the way through the maze underground. Decoration of the room was a bit old and cheesy.

    Location was great for visiting Christmas marketsaround 15-minute walk. Bed was also nice and comfyperfect rest after a days worth of walking.
    The receptionist was not accommodating at all. We arrived a bit early and all she said was youre too early for check-in. Not even offering to keep our luggage, take a seat, or anything that would at least make you feel welcome.

    I had stayed at this hotel before about 10 years ago, which was the last time I was in Cologne.
    Staff was friendly. They put us up at quite short notice.
    No kettle or coffee in the rooms.

    The bed was big and comfortable, and everything was very clean. Shower was good, dressing gowns were a nice touch.
