Exceptional

Blissful place with unbelievable view. Stay was too short.

The pool is sensational. Such a nice touch to have waters and suntan lotion there. Location is amazing with awesome views. Wish I was there for longer.

Superb

As always excellent, reluctant to leave.

This was our 4th stay at Clouds. Immaculate rooms, excellent staff and of course the unbeatable view.

We think the food slightly lets it down. For such a superb place would expect a somewhat higher standard hence overall only a 9.

Exceptional

Highly recommend if your looking for a boutique hotel in stellenbosh. This is our second time staying here and didnt disappoint. The views alone are enough of a reason to stay here, not to mention the beds are super comfy and the staff are so welcoming. Lovely breakfast.

Shame we only stayed one night and didnt get to make use of the pool!

Amazing setting in a slightly worn estate

- Amazing view and setting - Large villa rooms - The main infinity pool was great - Good location between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek - Breakfast was decent (but not extraordinary) - Snacks, beers and ros in the room were a nice touch

- The villa bedrooms are very small (you cant open the wardrobe), but the living area is enormous. The furnishings are very dated and feel like IKEA-type quality. - The staff are mixed - some were really helpful, but the breakfast team was often standing around chatting with zero service unless you asked for it. Delivery was quite sassy/unwelcoming at times. Reception was often not staffed. - The pool for the villas was not very clean in the afternoons (unlike the main hotel pool, which was great). - The hotel ran out of mineral water and had none available for the majority of our stay.
