All rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities, a flat-screen TV and heating. The restaurant serves Scottish dishes including West Coast mussels and other locally caught seafood. The lively and friendly bar offers a range of locally brewed ales. Inverness offers easy access to the beautiful Scottish Highlands and you can go dolphin-spotting on the Moray Firth, or visit the famous battle site of Culloden, which is around 5 miles away. The banks of Loch Ness are 15 minutes’ drive away, while Cairngorms National Park is 20 miles from the hotel.

    Friendly people and a warm welcome. Small, outdated and noisy room. Worn out bed. Overpriced in comparison to quality. 10 Minutes walk to the old centre.
    Room can use a modernisation. New mattress is a necesity: bedsprings are not very comfy while trying to sleep. Windows cannot open for some fresh air, curtains ....

    Wonderful staff and location
    Such a cozy room and in a great location, super easy to walk to central Inverness. The bed was very comfortable. The pub on the ground floor was really good and the staff there were SO kind and friendly. I would go back just for that reason. Always had lovely conversations and every evening when I got back someone asked how my day had been.
    The TV in my room was possessed turned itself on and flipped to random channels on its own. Refused to turn off, which was a new one. No amount of resetting the settings ever did fix it, and it became a running joke for my whole stay having to physically unplug it from the wall each night. More than a bit disconcerting on the first night but honestly wouldnt change a thing as that became part of the experience haha

    Nice bar, food was good pub grub
    The room was cold. The heating was good in main room but bathroom didnt heat up and was drafty. My room was right above the bar and was very noisy. The walls are very thin.
