Five minute stay, hugely disappointing.

Location was fine.

The booking confirmation stated 'private bathroom'; we arrived to find a bath in the bedroom and a small bathroom with a sink and toilet. Having just spent 24 hours on a flight, we could not contemplate struggling with a handheld bath/shower attachment. I am incredibly annoyed that this possibility was not flagged before the confirmation. We left immediately and found alternative accommodation. The Bothy room is very small and the lack of a shower/bath in the bathroom should be made crystal clear.

Cosy stay

Our room was lovely and cosy with nice, tasteful decor. We had all we needed and it was nice and toasty warm! We were able to park right outside and had a little walk around part of the estate the following morning. Breakfast was good. Overall very happy.

Our room was faced on to the road that runs past the property so there was a bit of traffic noise. Nothing major as its not a main road, but Im just not used to it!

The breakfast was not cooked very well it definitely wasn't cooked fresh hard eggs the beans looked like they had been used before in the pot they was not fresh the bacon was burnt ...coffee and tea was cold in the jug and teapot .the toast you got 5 mins or more after breakfast not with the breakfast .I would of thought with all the produce at cowdry park the food should have been spot on but it really was a let down ..we have stayed before and it was lovely but not this time
