Staff very friendly. We got a complementary glass of bubbles for partners bday which was lovely. Beautiful open fires.

The menu wasn't clear. We thought you got a side when having a 3 course meal, but this was not the case. We paid 6 for approximately 20 average chips. Bed VERY soft, we kept rolling into the middle. Our room was next to a room with a dog, which kept barking. If guests are paying for a night away, I wouldn't recommend putting them next door to a dog friendly room. Drinks are very expensive. Sauna was not working.

Expensive for what we got.

Beautiful ok property in a lovely location. Clean and tidy in some parts.

Spa needs tlc, sauna not working. Paintwork peeling of walls and hot tub cold. We paid for extra tlc as a birthday treat but not good value for money. Supposed to be dog friendly but was made to sit in conservatory, which dont get me wrong is a beautuful room but got forgotten at breakfast and sat on hard metal chairs for nearly an hour then served cold small breakfast. Second morning better as didnt have my dog and was able to sit in dining room.
