Would highly recommend Breakfast was excellent, and coffee delicious!

A very friendly greeting upon arrival by manager Mark. Although a traditional old building it is obvious that the HB has received a very good refurbishment, and retained it's traditional charm. Such a nice touch to have roaring real fires at the time of my arrival (before midday).

If you are looking for a perfect halfway spot between Midhurst and Petworth , which both offer fantastic things to do. I

Upon arrival both Charlene and Rose greeted me with a really warm welcome. They advised me of places to visit within Midhurst and Petworth during my couple of days in the area. My room was immaculately clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. My bathroom was big and I had a relaxing bath. In the morning I woke early and arrived for breakfast at 8am sharp. The open fire was already burning creating a beautiful warmth. Again I was greeted by Charlene and Rose. Rose made me a perfect coffee latte which I drank quickly. No sooner had I finished, Rose asked if I would like another? I love a great coffee and accepted a second and then a third coffee. Roses coffee was definitely the best I had while in the area. The full English breakfast was fantastic.

Excellent stay.

Charlene and Rose went out of their way to make our whole stay so special. We held our Christmas get together for around 20 of our team which was such a success due to the great staff and hospitality. My husband and I stayed the night in the most loveliest of rooms. Loved our stay from start to finish.

Absolutely nothing to dislike. Our stay was spot on.

Five star stay

This is a really beautiful part of the country, the accommodation was set back from the road so there was no traffic noise. The room was lovely and comfortable and well equipped. There was a fridge with fresh milk, real coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and a choice of teas. There was also still and sparkling water in the fridge. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant which served excellent food. I would thoroughly recommend everyone to stay here.
