Superb

Fantastic views with your very own private plunge pool!

The building is great, very modern, well appointed suites with all your needs. We had the surf suite which was spacious and perfect for small families. Loved that it had a washer dryer as well. The suites function more like apartments. The outdoor area was fantastic with ample seating and a beautiful plunge pool with spectacular views. The sound of the waves crashing into the shore is just heavenly!

The service was pretty slow. The staff definitely needs more training. They were trying to be helpful and hospitable which is much appreciated but the response time was slow compared to other larger properties. We arrived an hour late and despite having alerted the hotel of our arrival, the rooms were not ready. Food was ready as it had been pre-ordered but not delivered to the room for a good 30-45 mins later so some items arrived cold. Wouldve appreciated a fan on the terrace for times its not as breezy.

Convenient place for a family for a longer stay but need to travel to a family friendly beach .

Friendly staff. Some of them went out of their way to help.

No privacy at swimming pool. Had to walk through the restaurant which was awkward . Front desk operation is chaotic . There is was no kitchen utensils and cutlery and crockery . Had to ask for them . Beach was rough and definitely would not recommend parents to let children wade into water . The hotel had a stench from sewerage on our check in . It was not rectified satisfactorily even when we checked out . The smell reached the plunge pool area in the second floor . It was poorly managed .

The Upscale Interiors and The Views.

The Hotel was a bit Pricey and the insisted on check out at 11 AM. No late check out was permitted despite of rooms being available. Very Rigid in all terms.

We loved absolutely everything about this place! Its stunning. The place is modern with views to die for. Staff were amazing, the food in the restaurant delicious. We didnt want to leave.

5 star - Sri Lanka Style - Very Nice Place

This place is very good. So we travel a lot around the world and have been in Sri Lanka 2 times. Plus: Service from the moment you arrived to the moment you left. Staff friendly and try to make all good Management team professional and effective, also on chat and phone. Good food - breakfast also good. Housekeeper friendly and make you apartments clean and they respect the clean/not clean sign Security do they best, but not professional trained in my optical ( I do security my self ) So to be clear, nice place, you eat good, you will have a fantastic stay. We will go back, if we visit Sri Lanka again.

Minus: So it is a new building ( 15 months + ) why do they not put isolated Vindues in the bed rooms, that is not good for guest, because of all the noise from train and cars every night!! We could hear all traffic on 8 floor. Pool area is not private and you dont feel private swimming there or getting there.! That why my girls didnt want to use it. Pool on apartments is cold - se same feedback from other guest. It is set to 26,6 Celsius only. Food delivery from restaurant was great, but often a bit cold and not covered from restaurants to elevator to room, not very hygienic! We must ask for this, because if you use it often, it becomes critical. So to be clear, if you stay 1 or 2 nights, just relax and everything is good 5 star standard, but if you stay 12-14 nights like us, all the things I wrote will make some different.
