    About This Property

    Family-run for nearly 500 years, the Dollinger is set at the foot of the Nordkette Mountains in the northern part of Innsbruck. It offers limited free parking, surcharged parking situated nearby and (Read More)a breakfast buffet. All rooms provide bathroom amenities, satellite flat-screen TVs and a safe, as well as free Wi-Fi access. The restaurant of the Dollinger serves Austrian and especially Tyrolean cuisine either indoors, or in the beautiful garden, shaded by old chestnut trees. The Dollinger will organize a free ski bus in winter and a hiking bus in summer. The Inn Valley Bicycle Trail goes past the hotel, as are numerous hiking tracks. The Innsbruck Old Town, the famous Golden Roof and the Court Church are 1.5 km from the Dollinger and can be easily reached either within a 20-minute walk or a few minutes by bus. The Hungerburgbahn, a funicular leading to the Alpine Zoo of Innsbruck, is nearby.

    Pre Christmas stay- parents with an adult child.
    The recently updated interior. Modern and clean with an Austrian traditional feel. The location was across the river 20 mins walk to the old town, however the Innsbruck tourist card which was given on check in meant all the frequent buses free. We enjoyed the walk. Very popular and busy restaurant which offered a wide range of delicious food. Would certainly recommend. Great breakfast offering a wide selection of hot and cold items.

    Constant noises from the air conditioner despite being turned off, impossible to sleep. Cheap, transparent sliding door does not isolate bath room from main room, always wakes up the other person when using the toilet during the night (light, automatic ventilation, noises...).

    Good vague hotel just a little out of town centre
    Breakfast was great, lots of options
    Room was a little too hot for 4 people. Had to open the window in evening to cool down a bit. Would have been good to be told about Welcome Card at check in, not when I asked how to pay for bus/ tram in Innsbruck - could do better job of promoting it.

    Great hotel. Helpful staff. Relatively close to the wilderness.
    Staff were helpful. Restaurant and breakfast buffet was great. In a quiet area across the river away from the busy town yet still close enough to the very efficient public transport system.
    The rooms were too warm but not unbearable.

    Only a short bus or tram journey from the centre of Innsbruck and easy to walk to the Alpenzoo or nearest station to ascend the venucular up to the Alps. Interior of the Dollinger is pleasant, good breakfast and restaurant room and found it quiet at night.
