Superb

AMAZING OVERALL but one BIG ISSUE

I already left one review (I booked two separate stays) so more details are there. All the positive stuff is there.

ONE BIG ISSUE: someone came into our room while we were lying in bed, watching TV. We heard the card reader go off, someone came in, then went "Oops!" laughed, and left. We did not see the person (our heads were obscured by the TV). It could have been room service (which they could have announced, to let us know it was them, once they realized their mistake and saw people were in the room). Or it could have been other guests, whose keycard ALSO WORKED FOR OUR ROOM?! Unsure. But if it was just me staying there alone, I know I likely wouldn't have slept a wink after that.

Comfortable, cozy, quiet rooms. Distance wasn't an issue w/ access to ferry.

Luxurious, comfortable, quiet. The ferry was ALWAYS right on time, very predictable, at least twice per hour, and so cheap. The distance wasn't an issue. They served AMAZING breakfast. Better than any hotel or cafe in the area. The breakfast area was lovely too. The staff was polite. Props to them also for letting us check in very early free of cost, and we snoozed a bit through the morning before going out to explore. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we added on an extra 2 days. Comfy beds. GOOD sleep. The bar downstairs was very loud, but none of the sound could be heard from the room.

There wasn't enough hot water to fill even half the tub, and the only reason I booked this place was to be able to take a hot bath at the end of each day. I tried on two different days to no avail. The bar downstairs was too loud to be able to enjoy it. We didn't linger too long. Also, you cannot bring your own drinks downstairs, even if you're willing to pay a corkage fee, which I found annoying. We bought a bottle of mead at the Christmas Markets and didn't just want to drink it in our tiny room in bed, so there was no other place to drink it than at the tables downstairs. We were told no.

Flight from Riga to Stockholm is only 55 minutes - a great midwinter-getaway option.

Great view. Good room layout. Easy to get to the centre by small ferry. Good breakfast selection. Helpful staff (I asked where the local shop was and I was provided with an easy-to-read map).

Spa facilities were expensive. I only wanted to swim but I had to buy the whole 3-hour spa experience. Maybe the hotel could think about splitting the cost for swimmers.

1. Limited choice of breakfast when u stay for four days in a row. 2. Bathtub is abit small for two people to share. 3. U need to pay for the gym

Exceptional

First Time visiting Stockholm. Everything super, everybody very friendly. Food was super, room was super. 0 complains. We even could check in a couple hours earlier than planned. Location is super, near to everything. We will gladly stay again.
