Very good

Such an unusual and quirky stay. Host Alan great with communication and happy to help with any problems. Location very peaceful, local pub called the Thimble has great food. Heating put on when we requested it.

The house is still a work in progress and some rooms had a musty smell.

Amazing stay in a beautiful place, definitely not the ordinary. Will certainly be staying again

Amazing location in a pretty village setting. Host was most accommodating. Excellent position and close to main towns for shopping and trips out. We had a wheelchair user in our party and this accommodation was perfect for meeting his needs.

Quiet Weekend Getaway

Alan was an absolute star, we co ordinated on the phone and he showed us around the place when we arrived. The inn had a nice cozy and unique experience and we enjoyed our morning tea with the stream of water flowing beside the house along with some beautiful landscapes. There is massive kitchen with an option of cooking your own food as well. Lovely place, will definitely visit again. Alan introduced us to some lovely cooking herbs/spices which he has growing around as well.

Booked the place and arranged everything for the activities around. Received an email on our way from London saying that the booking was cancelled due to error. Family of 7 with two children, what are you supposed to do? No words can explain this horrible experience

Discovering the finer things in life

A lovely spacious accomodation, with everything needed to make it a fabulous get away, spending time with those you hold dearest, and in a location that is just idyllic. Loads of beautiful places to explore and all within close proximity of the Piddle Inn. Alan runs a very slick operation and seriously, everything you need and more is there, couple that with great communication and factual literature to help you get the most from your stay, I would have no reservations in recommending this to other like minded groups that just want to slow things down and enjoy the beauty that Dorset has to offer.

I have nothing negative to comment on, the only thing I didn't like, was coming home, wishing that I had a couple more days left, four days really was too short we all felt.

Perfect place for family or friends get away.

Such a fantastic location with 1 very large family room, 2 excellent size double rooms and 1 excellent sized twinned room, ideal for a family get-together, or friends reunions. Plenty of space in the pub area itself. Kept expecting Barbara Windsor (aka Peggy Mitchell) to come and tell us to "Get out me Pub". Absolutely brilliant

THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT A NEGATIVE ON THE PUB. The weather was definitely a bit wet, but even so there was so much to do both around the area, and inside the pub, you really didn't notice the rain.

Very good

A really unique experience in a lovely part of the world.

You get an entire pub to yourself! The host, Alan, was wonderful. He couldn't do enough for us and had answers to all our questions. When something went a little wrong in the week he jumped to get it fixed.
