Bad

A nightmare. Can you call it a hotel?

Facilities were very basic and tiny but it was ok for us. The heating worked. The woman on reception in the morning was polite and helpful.

When we arrived, reception was closed although it should have still been open at the time. Self-check in was complicated. It was dark and the lamp in the room was broken. The door of the room practically opens into the open air. We felt really unsafe. The staff were smoking and making very loud noise outside our door after midnight and we complained several times to no avail. The cigarette smoke came under the door into our room and we got sick. There were some loud arguments going on between members of staff and we heard them break their way into the room next to us (not sure what that was about). Their dog was barking near to our room. There was a storm at night and the wind blew and howled under our door because of its bad construction.

Disappointing

I forgot a costly multi-appliance charger in the rooms socket, which I brought to the hotels notice the same day. Still it wasnt to be found! Very strange.

Pleasant

Very basic hotel on an industrial estate just outside Reims. Easy to find and easy to access using the electric door card machine. Rooms were compact and clean and very cosy. Adequate for an overnight stop. No restaurant facilities but only a 15 euro uber to the centre of Reims. Breakfast was typical continental with fresh bread and good coffee and reasonable at 8 euros per head. Wifi worked well and overall a reasonable place to sop over for one night.
