    Great location, lovely hotel with stunning views
    Cosy property and great rooms. Loved the honesty bar, a great idea. Amazing views.
    Only complaint was the steel bed frame which was very noisy, even when walking around the bedroom the bed was making noise so it was a bit of a disturbed sleep.

    I really wasn't expecting the high quality of this hotel. I booked a single room and as a single traveller believe me I have stayed in the smallest of spaces over the years travelling a lot with my job. I was given an upgrade for which I was very grateful with a huge room and bed. The breakfast was cooked to order and I have to say was the best hotel breakfast I have ever eaten. Full Cumberland first morning and Kippers and poached eggs 2nd morning both were outstanding. Food was piping hot, staff were very professional. Free coffee and an amazing Almond cake in the afternoon while I worked were delicious. Free parking on site and literally 2 minutes walk to the centre with a beautiful view from the window. There is an honesty bar with very reasonable prices so I retired to my room with a very nice bottle of Merlot and some locally sourced preserves to take home from the little reception shop. There was absolutely nil sound from outside road noise and only the occasional door closing noise from the room next door with no TV or talking noise in my my room. Such a peaceful relaxing stay and a very good few nights sleep. Thankyou Team Highfield ! I cannot recommend highly enough.

    On arrival had room upgraded to a double. Hotel is in a Fantastic location for access to Keswick. All staff where very friendly and helpful. Over all a great place to stay if visiting Keswick

    Excellent choice in a central location for a last minute one night stay
    I was welcomed by a young receptionist who carried my case for me up two flights of stairs to my room. Complimentary tea and cake in the afternoon Wine and snacks to purchase in the lounge Large private car park for guests behind the hotel Excellent breakfast with a good choice Lovely view across the lake from the lounge and dining room Very well located for both the centre of Keswick and the Lake
    The illuminated bathroom mirror could be lower. At 5ft 1in I could see only down to my nose! (Plenty of other mirrors in the bedroom) A small table by the chair in the bedroom on which to place my wine glass from the lounge would be helpful (but very little rook).
