perfect for a short getaway

The hosts had thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible, right down to board games and dvds for a cosy night in. We stayed over the Xmas holidays and the Christmas tree and decorations were a lovely touch.

Lovely cosy place

The house is fantastic, clearly newly renovated with all the comforts. Lots of attention to detail and very cosy, the kitchen was fully equipped, we only stayed for a couple of nights but would have loved to stay longer! The house is very close to Keswick and a great base for exploring the Lake District.

It is perhaps difficult to access without a car, but I imagine most people visiting the lakes will be driving anyway so it wasn't really a problem for us!

Brilliant stay and well worth the money.

Place was lovely. Extremely nice place with modern amenities. Comfortable bed as well which is rare for some places! Host went the extra mile for a surprise engagement weekend.

Nice weekend away

Very beautiful location and house. Really quiet and tranquil. The kitchen is kitted out really well and you could probably make most dishes you would want. Thank you!

There were a few dead bugs and spiders, but that can't really be helped in an area like that!
