    Another nice stay.
    Excellent variety and quality of breakfast items. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. Walking park is a very nice feature for our two small dogs.
    That this hotel was not in Port Lavaca, Texas, which is where we spent 5 nights.

    Rude night time staff.
    The room was a nice size.
    The night time staff is rude and unavailable. First night no one was at the desk and their car was parked in the carport out front allowing no one to come in. Second night she acted as if I was an inconvenience and had to finish what she was doing on her phone before assisting me. Worst Hilton staff experience.

    Location and price
    The staff entered the room while we were at breakfast and took the snacks and other items from our kitchenette counter without asking. Staff returned later once we went back to the room and knocked and enter again before we could answer the door..The other 2 rooms that were occupied by our friends. Were also entered by staff before they checked out.. one of the rooms bed was stripped and the other room staff walked in while occupied. Staff should not enter the rooms unless occupant has checked out at front desk.

    It was in the right place for our stay. There was a lot available to us by staying at that location (for dinner or even shopping). Helpful staff and a nice breakfast
    The hotel was under-going a (needed but unreported) rennovation. But it was *under-going it* while we were there and it is clear that it was a necessary response to a tired building and facilities. We felt that we were the last customers in the 'old building' and it kinda felt like that. I would imagine that by now, with the rennovation complete, it would have been a bit nicer.

    Overall, despite the breakfast being disappointing we enjoyed our stay
    The staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the pool and gym. Room was clean and we liked the kitchen area (microwave, fridge, etc..). Pricing for the area was very economical. Location was great as well. Close to shopping and food.
    We were disappointed with the complimentary breakfast. Limited options and food were microwavable ty.pe food Our son who does not have a special diet but is a picky eater did not have anything he could eat. most hotels have eggs and bacon or donuts and this was not an option. Food was a little too specialized and more like microwavable type food.

    The rooms were unclean and smelled very stale. The carpets were very dirty. Everything in the room felt damp.

    Expected more out of this hotel but it wasnt unbearable.
    The positive thing about the property was location.
    it wasnt very clean, the bathrooms are small compared to most hotels, and the breakfast was terrible.
