The location and style of the property is superb.

The restaurant is too full, with people from outside of the hotel. Very loud and hectic.

Good location but in need of refurbishment

Location was excellent in terms of hiking trails. Breakfast selection was excellent.

While a traditionally styled Northern Swiss hotel the rooms and the furnishing were somewhat dated and tired. Bedding, pillows etc., were well below the standard we have enjoyed during our 8 week trip through Spain, Italy and Austria. Rooms at the entrance side of the hotel can be noisy from the restuarant, other guests entering and leaving the hotel as too road noise. Unfortunate too that the water boiler stopped working for two evenings / mornings resulting in rather cold showers.
