Our best days & nights (and the New Year's Eve) of the Benalmdena, with pleasure again!

The food abundance in half-board catering was really outstanding. Varieties of cheese, ham, chorizos & patees. The common European desserts supplied mornings & evenings, a huge variety of fruit, and vegetables, all fresh and neatly served. Very well prepared & replenished immediately, in swift & clean manner. One could count up to 5 different salads, 5-7 main dishes on the dinner buffet table, meat, fish, and seafood, including some for vegetarians. Dietary menus were available, too. The buffet staff were real professionals, hard working & striving guys, no time for laziness! At least 7 sorts, each for red, white, or pink wines from the wine card, were just enough for one wishing for a taste, paid for a full bottle additionaly, though. No fuss, the remains could be labeled for oneself and put away for the next day's dinner. And the temperature wine was presented in was just perfect, a no-miss for a restaurant! The lobby bar offered a variety of cocktails for a very decent pricing, beating the price out in town almost twice. Not to mention the free drinks in the New Year's Eve, unlimitedly!

There was the charged table water offered for breakfasts only (and no drinking water available except for boiling for teas), however, it could be substituted with the free sparkling Cava, unlimitedly. Had to refrain from the bottled water mornings for saving another 2 per piece, but we enjoyed it. The ananas & orange juice drinks were available in the mornings, arguably enough. Nothing for the fresh-squeezed, though. A tiny note about coffee. The single place for good coffee, outperforming machined drinks in the breakfast area, was in the lobby bar, opening at noons only. Still, it was worth waiting for that perfect refreshing morning sip, which would outweigh the common European pricing for 1,70 for an espresso/Americano only. What a decent pricing! The room service showed excellence. However, we missed the daily replenishment of water in the room, on the opposite as it was stated in the leaflet. It was not a big deal. On the contrary to the abundance of mosquitos all year round.

Superb

Would highly recommend hotel.

Perfect accommodation. Excellent location. Transport excellent. Food good. Beverages reasonably priced. High standards of hygiene. Minor improvements would be good. Eg more luxurious towels, update bedding, tea/coffee in all rooms, fan in bathroom. Extra bin in bedroom. However not that big a deal.

Nothing. Just little tweaks would improve overall impression of hotel.

A good stay but we would probably look elsewhere next year due to the quality of the food.

Its decorated well for Christmas and close to everything.

The food wasnt as good this year as last year. It was quite often cold and the quality didnt appear to be as good this year. The room was ok but there was very little room between the end of the beds and the unit with the fridge and the pillows were very hard. We hired a kettle but a good extra would be tea and coffee facilities in every room.

Location was good. Food was good especially for people with non-vegetarian food habits. They were friendly to provide gluten free bread, biscuits.

It was hard to communicate with some of the staff as they did not speak English. You need to drinking water bottle, even though when you have paid for breakfast and dinner. You don't get Kettle, Iron stand at the room, you need to pay a deposit (which is refundable), Gym facilities were not up to the mark. Initially the room that we checked-in was not cleaned properly.

A pleasant stay despite a couple of disappointments.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice as did the buffet at lunchtime and evening, although at times it was a bit chaotic due to the number of diners. The room allocated was spacious. Nice gardens. Wheelchair friendly.

The lifts aren't very big - could just get my wheelchair and my wife in. I did request a room with wheelchair access and a bathroom with facilities for the disabled, but didn't get that; we were allocated a 'premium' room which had plenty of room and large comfortable beds; the bathroom was fine but was a bit small for manoeuvring my wheelchair, there were no aids and the shower gel/soap dispensers were out of reach. As our stay was only a few days I managed but if my wheelchair had been a few millimetres wider I would not have been able to get into the bathroom - my wheels touched by sides of the doorway! Not really a 'dislike' more a disappointment.

A good hotel with value for money

Buffet breakfast and dinner was the best one. Rooms were and beds were quite big in size and comfortable too. Hotel has good a good terrace garden for hangout. It has good garden and a play area for the kids. Swimming pool is also nice.

Rooms were having very little amenities and some basic things were missing such as hot water cattle (however, it can be obtained from reception with a deposit of 10 Euros). Plastic chairs were also there in balcony, which could have been improved.
