    Short stay in Catania
    Location, thats the reason I picked this hotel, right on the Piazza del Duomo, with view on the square, good WiFi, close to good restaurants, equipment might seem insufficient but you get the charm of an historical building, staff was great and helpful, would definitely go them again for a short stay
    The hotel is a bit dated, I knew that but went for the location, excellent choice if you want to spend a night or two in the Centro Storico

    Our room was on top most level with over 70 steps to go up and down,with lagguages,and a 3 yr old. Picture of bathroom speaks for itself

    HERE - at home in Catania!!
    I absolutely LOVED this place! The old school friendly staff at reception, the enormous room, and the location is beyond amazing! The vibe in the piazza is so so nice. And then, there are shutters which blocks out all the noise. Ironically, this Albergo has the fastest WiFi I experienced in two weeks in all of Sicily! I was given un upgrade I didn't have to ask for -- SO SO grateful!
    I didn't mind it, because I travel light - but some people will complain about no lift. And this place does need a cash injection, but for me - it was just fantastic and so affordable. (if you like a lot of amenities - you might find it lacking)
