Location is best. Staff is best.

They dont have slippers. The window in the room didn't make sense. Its opens to nowhere and while opened its very noisy

The room was nice and big. The hotel is clean. The host Salvatore is super nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Even though it's a two star hotel, for the value of money is very great!!!

Excellent location. Competitive price. Staff offered to carry my suitcase once I had carried up to reception initially and generally very helpful. Fridge with drinks to purchase. Able to leave luggage for safekeeping. Bathroom was fine (except shower curtain is not a great option.)

50 steps up to reception, no elevator. Room had obscure glass window so no idea what was behind it. Sheets not cotton. No shared lounge. Air conditioning was noisy and needed to be on as room very stuffy. A hotel with lots of steps then a corridor with rooms on it.

Superb

A Hidden Gem of a Hotel

The location was absolutely stellar! It was in the center of town near the fish market and the main piazza by the duomo. Yet, it was so quiet as it was on a side street. The owner, his son and the housekeeping staff were all so sweet, accommodating and lovely. The room that my husband and I had was huge, the bed and bathroom were super comfortable and clean and the amenities like the coffee and and refrigerator were a nice touch. We will stay there again if we have an opportunity to return to Catania.

My first night was in a single room, before my husband arrived the following day. The room was small with no air conditioning and only a small window in a bathroom. It was dark, very hot and uncomfortable. However, the other room for the next two nights for the two of us was fantastic. If the weather were not so hot, I am sure the single room would have been just fine as the price was very reasonable for what the room was like.

I would like to thank the incredible staff of the hotel who were super accommodating! Separately, the location of the hotel is super central and if you are staying in Catania for a couple of days and need a clean, central place with hot shower and good mattress overnight when you come back from the tours, with a good value for money, go for it!

Quite a comfortable stay however there was some difficulty with stairs and location.

Location location location

The location is fabulous. A 20 minute walk from the main train station - easy and flat. It's in a quiet street but one block away from the main square in the old city. Around the corner from the famous fish market and incredible food area. The room.was large, clean, functional and quiet. The staff were considerate and professional. A great place to stay in Catania.

There is no lift and the staircase has very steep marble steps. - about 17. Thankfully the lovely staff took our bags up and down for us.
