The Fish’Inn Zell is located in the pedestrian zone in the heart of Zell am See, only a couple of steps away from the lake and a 5-minute walk from the Schmittenhöhe cable car. The new concept combin (Read More)es digital processes (contactless check-in) with Austrian tradition. In the morning a rich breakfast buffet is served in the recently redesigned lobby. There are 3 a la carte restaurants in the hotel building. Of course, free Wi-Fi is available in the entire hotel. Moreover, all rooms are equipped with air condition. Massage and beauty treatments are offered at a surcharge. In summer all prices include the Zell am See-Kaprun summer card (between 15th of May and 31st of October), entitling to free rides on various cable cars and lifts, free access to museums, swimming pools and much more. The lido on the beach can be used free of charge by hotel guests with this card. In winter the next cable car is only a short walk away and guests can make use of a free ski locker. The train station is just a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. Parking is available at a surcharge (subject to availability) only 100 metres away.

Overall good but there were a couple of unpleasant features (mostly noise in the room)

- Location is great; - Staff was very kind and professional;

- Room was next to the corridor door which was very noisy; - hotel is linked up with two more hotels and getting around is challenging/confusing (eg. ski room) ; - Bed pillow was quite bad (low and soft);

Right in the centre of town, only a few minutes' walk from the station. Nice breakfast

Staff not present at advertised times for check-in (it was possible to sort this out, but a bit disconcerting when I'd advised the property of my arrival time). All a bit dowdy and old-style, room oddly laid out (but a very ample size)

Magical

I stayed there for three nights, and it was amazing. There were restaurants, markets, a bus stop, and more all nearby, and the furniture in the rooms gave you the impression that you were living in the twentieth century. On the other hand, the staff at the reception was incredibly gracious and friendly, so if I visit Zell am See again, I will make my reservations here.

Too long way to reach the room and the google map location is not correct
