    One night stay prior to catching a morning flight
    The hotel is a 1 mile walk from the airport. The route mostly has a pavement / sidewalk. There are good restaurants and bars nearby.

    Good place to stay in useful location
    I had to catch a plane the following day.... by train I arrived in Dossobuono, walked to the hotel (just 5 minutes away), stayed the night, and the following morning I had a taxi to the airport - but: you can walk even that distance, too, if you want to save on the money. Hotel Gattopardo is nice and clean, has everything you need for a night or two. Considering the location close to the train station, it might even be a good place for days out in Verona city. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, no wish left unanswered for.
    The rooms that look out onto the street need fast sleepers, or earplugs, or early risers. In the evening the road was empty and quiet, but in the morning commuter traffic sets in. But it was fine for the one night I stayed there, and I had to leave early for my flight anyway. Personally, I disliked the sheets (felt like plastic somehow), but the mattress was fine.

    I recommend this hotel. Excellent location, clean rooms, excellent breakfast. The staff is very friendly, especially Jasmin who works at the reception. We had a problem with the reservation because it was for 2024 instead of 2023, and she reconciled it and changed everything and prepared it even though she couldn't contact us even if we were late for check-in. The entrance card was waiting for us in the box by the door. All the best and congratulations.

    Lovely comfortable place to stay with great staff near Verona airport
    Perfect for staying near airport for early flight. The receptionist was outstanding. She prepared a takeaway breakfast for us because our flight was early. She organised an airport shuttle at 6.45am and was there to ensure it turned up. The room was big and comfortable for our one night stay.

    Tasty breakfast, croissants were the best we ever try for a while. Hotel staff are super nice and helpful, and beside that - speaking different languages. We are having small dog - no troubles with that. Location is in downtown of small city, but with big supermarket, McDonalds or other cafes around.
    The hotel is not new, but everything works ok.

    It was ok for 1 night.
    Location was perfect. Great restaurants nearby.
    The bed was a bit hard, and there was hair (not mine) on the bathroom floor. The shower cabin is a bit tiny (I'm 1.88 tho) There was also a cat in the building (coming up the stairs) when I was leaving.
