Superb

We were in San Francisco on a very sad occasion. The hotel was a peaceful place to come back to.

The room was very spacious and we didn't feel cramped. The hotel is close to our family's home and it keeps us out of downtown. We hope to eat at the restaurant on the property on our next visit which will be Christmas weekend.

Location was great for restaurant and shops in Japan Town Coffee machine downstair is convinence.

I do not recommend this hotel for family as at night time the downstar turn into a bar. Breakfast is average. I was expecting more Japanese inspired food but there was only Miso soup. Breakfast area is small. Room was small and average - I didn't like the no door bathroom , but I guess it's ok if you travel alone or as couple. Do not require key card for lift access - anyone can use the lift to any floor level No bath tub

Very poor and staff/management didnt care

Concept

The room and bathroom was run down, dirty, and not well maintained; there was long term dirt on the vents and along walls, the bed was uncomfortable. Left after 1 night and moved to a different hotel. Was charged an extra night for leaving early on top of the night I stayed. I contacted the hotel manager to explain why I left early with photos who chose not to comment or address it.
