A walk away to shops, bars and restaurants. Opposite City Park which is well worth walking through.

Difficulty recognising Hotel Launceston from the front as the main signage is Mercure.

Very good

Superb location right in the town center. Spacious and well furnished room. Brand new facilities. Value for money.

The bathroom basin is way too small and is concealed under a shelf. Had to tuck my head in between to wash my face.

Good value acokmodatoon located within a short walk to the city centre.

The staff were wonderful and the upgraded rooms are well appointed.

Found the room we were originally in quite noisy as many air con units were outside the window. Was kindly relocated for the second night and found the next room much better.

Fantastic Location and comfortable room

Comfortable beds. The staff were excellent and very friendly. We even received a call when we failed to check in (a previous call made to the staff regarding the fact our flight was cancelled wasn't passed on). Location is great! Even the minibar prices weren't totally excessive for a change.

Everything was pretty good. I couldn't really say that I fault anything at all. We ate dinner at the restaurant once, it was average I suppose. Other than this - fantastic stay.

Superb

We experienced a great three day (two nights) stay in Launceston, and completed all we had planned.

The whole experience was very good and the rooms were well laid out. The bathroom appeared to have been renovated/updated recently. TV was very good with a range of channels etc to watch. We dined in the restaurant on two nights of our stay and were very impressed with the range of food and drinks quality and service. There was a great atmosphere with views over the Launceston Botanical Gardens.

We thought the access to our room from the reception and restaurant area could have been better. There is a lift installed but basically only services the main front building, with lots of stairs after departing the lift. I admit this may only apply to folk such as us (80yo) who find it harder to manage the stairs. If we were to book in the future, and that would be a strong possibility we would ask for a room with-in the main building. Maybe this building layout should be mentioned when booking, but apart from that we were very impressed overall.
