    Hotel Nella has been in the family since 1921. Set on the green hills of the Ligurian countryside, it is 3 km from La Spezia Train Station. All rooms come with air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a flat (Read More)-screen TV. Nella Hotel prides itself on its friendly and personalised service. It is ideal for visiting the Cinque Terre, with boats leaving regularly from La Spezia. Breakfast is buffet style, while there are a number of cafés and restaurants in the area just a few steps away. The hotel provides free parking. Staff are always on hand to offer tourist information, maps and public transport timetables. The CAI (Italian Alpine Club) path that connects Portovenere to the Cinque Terre starts right in front of the hotel.

    The history of the hotel being soo old. The breakfast was basic but good.The hotel was saved by its close proximity to a fab bar restaurant across the road.
    This hotel is 25 in a taxi out from La Spezia. The bedroom was very small. There was no proper bar service and no food available.

    Excellent hotel, location and friendly staff, would return again.
    Breakfast was excellent, a good variety of food. Room was comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities. Location was ideal, quiet, ample and excellent parking facility. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful in all respect.
    No lift but it wasn't necessary.

    The owner Danielle is very helpful. He answered all our questions and was very patient and nice to talk to. Shower in our room was larger than most.other hotels we've stayed in.

    Is a peaceful, quiet place, away from crowded city.
    Excellent breakfast with many choices. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved my balcony.
    Location is remote from downtown and train stations. No information on close places to eat. Taxis to/from site were expensive - no Uber in La Spezia.
