Close to thw beaxh

It was under construction. Pool was closed. Not clean the room. Heavy dust on furnitures. Need ask for soup , toilet papers.

Location is toooooo good to enjoy with own restaurant on the best beach . Main touristy n happening in South srilanka must recommended

Construction was going on lower floor has no view of sea. Service was very poor..... But for beach location every thing you can forget.

Disappointing

Location is good.

Service is worst among all the hotels I stayed in Sri Lanka. Dish connection of the TV doesnt work. Staffs are busy with a restaurant in front of the hotel than, concentrating on guest of the hotel. Swimming pool is out of service but in booking.com it says swimming pool is available.

Superb

Good location

Very nice, big room with AC and big balcony. Toilette and shower separated, both big enough. View from the room and closeness to the beach is very good. They let us have a late check out, free of charge.

Staff was a little confused also a bad english. Bed sheets had some holes. Breakfast was nothing special. During our stay the building was renovated with was quite disturbing and loud.

disgusting hotel next to the beach

I spent only one night there, because of the location, actually it is the only good thing about this property.

- the mosquitos net is covered with bloody spots - the building is extremely old and when I woke up I saw the part of the ceiling on the floor - careless staff - poor breakfast - swimming pool looks so bad that I never tried it

Nice rooms but not recommendable for families

- Clean and very spacious rooms with functioning AC and ventilator - very comfortable beds with good mattresses - very close to the beach

- no WiFi in the rooms - it was quite loud because of the busy street right in front of the hotel - Loud Russian party music in the hotels restaurant until late at night . Therefore not suitable for families with noise-sensitive kids - We booked this hotel because of the pool. We have two small kids. However the pool was quite dirty and not welcoming at all. We went to another much better hotel pool instead were the kids could swim for 500 LKR/kid. - Apart from the rooms this hotel is in a bad state and urgently needs renovation.

Best location to enjoy the beach

Sea view from the room and balcony was very nice. Beachfront restaurant was great. Also, this is one of the few hotels in the area that have a moderately good swimming pool. This location together with swimming pool has made the hotel worth the price. Staff are kind and helpful, too.

As already reviewed by many others, it is regrettable that the main building and facility was not maintained properly. While we do understand to some extent that the closure during the pandemic led to difficult situation, it would still have been possible to keep a certain level of tidiness , e.g. not to scatter housekeeping equipment in visible places, covering damaged walls with paint or even paper etc. We hope that the gradual recovery of tourism will improve the overall management to fully utilize the potential of superb location.

the shower is broken and while taking a shower had to have hold it by hand. the shower room is not cleaned properly. the tiles of the show room wall are very dirty. the premise is not clean. there are share edges of the steps of the swimming pool. some tiles are broken and had to have fix them.
