Exceptional stay in beautiful hotel with wonderful views

Wonderful stay at the beautiful hotel. The hotel has the best views in Unawatuna. The rooms are of a good size and well furnished. The breakfast is excellent with a choice of local or international dishes. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Easy walk into the town. We ate at a lovely fish restaurant called Daffodil. We will most definitely return to the Panorama. We took away happy memories of a special stay. Thank you so much!

TERRIBLE wifi, too expensive, cash only - would not recommend, you can get nicer facilities for cheaper somewhere else

pool was great, staff were nice

NOT worth the price at all. way too expensive for what it is. i have seen that people have been complaining about the terrible wifi for over a year and they have done nothing about it. it does NOT work in the rooms at all. also the fact that this place is SO expensive and cash only is ridiculous, especially since it doesnt say *anywhere* during booking that the place is cash only. i would NOT have stayed here if i knew it was cash only. also you have to walk up/down a very steep hill to get to the hotel (not an issue for me but was just thinking about how this would be really important to note, in case you have mobility issues). the rooms are nice but not amazing. if this place was half the price i would give it a slightly better rating. but being so expensive with cash only and no wifi (despite months of complaints) is unacceptable, hence my low rating. i would NOT stay again and wish i had saved my money and/or stayed somewhere on the beach

Lovely hotel with amazing views from the pool and delicious breakfast but not practical for infant

The breakfast was delicious. We chose the continental breakfast one day and Sri Lankan breakfast the next day. The staff accommodated our different spice tolerance

We were travelling with a 10 month old baby and the property description online didnt explain the access to the hotel. It was a bit of a struggle to go up and down the hill in a tuk tuk every time we wanted to leave the hotel. The hotel have cots and some childrens toys but does not have high chairs for the baby to join us for breakfast.

Superb

Absolutely recommend for a comfortable stay with a great view

Clean and comfortable. Great location. Great service. Great shower. Breakfast was delicious. Best pool so far in Sri Lanka with a phenomenal view and ideal for sunset.

Minor point but no wifi in the rooms, only in the reception/pool area.

Very good

Very nice small well run hotel

Excellent views of the sea. Nice pool. Very good and well presented breakfast. Staff and especailly the manager were very friendly and responsive to the demands.

Initial teathing problem with the hot water that was resolved quickly.
