    The breakfast was decent, but not hot enough.
    The roadworks right outside which have been ongoing since a year ago. The dust and noise was horrible. As a result there weren't many bars open within walking distance. If we had known this we would never have booked, such a waste of time and money.

    Booked a standard room for family of 3 (2 adults and 1 child). The standard room accomodates maximum of 3 persons. Had to pay extra bed, extra breakfast and room upgrade as the standard room was not available during check in.

    Decent sized room. The balcony had a good view
    The reception staff were very cold and unhelpful. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly The road outside the hotel is being repaired and hence the access to the town centre is difficult and confusing (over 2 kms of road being relaid) The room was very hot and the aircon had only hot function. When I requested to be able to use the cold function, I was told thats not possible. I requested for a fan and that was ignored They note down your credit card number which I find very uncomfortable Overall, I felt no warmth in the place

    there were rowdy drunken golfers banging on the door of the room next door at 0300 who threatened us when we asked them to be quiet & the hotel did not take appropriate action quickly enough. They were good enough to relocate us to prevent a recurrence the following night but ought to have been more decisive and involved the police given what was happening but they did not do so
