    The location was beautiful! The views from our room glorious! The breakfast the hotel provides was delicious. The hosts were so hospitable! So warm and kind! They provided us with lots of good info about the area and more!

    Amazing views and great hosts
    The views from this hotel are absolutely amazing, (Room 17). Situated high on the hillside above Lake Thunersee, Interlaken, you can see for miles over the high peaks of the Alps, including the Eiger. The location is very peaceful and we spent all of our time, when we were in the room, sat on the balcony admiring the view, which changes every 30 minutes. We slept with the curtains open so we could wake up with the sun rising and enjoy the early morning splendour of the Alps. The room itself was large and had a good sized balcony that could easily seat 4, and included a small table and 2 chairs. It was spotlessly clean (including the shower), the beds were very comfortable, and included all the facilities we would normally expect, including tea and coffee making. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and the food was of excellent quality, the best we had in Switzerland, and also reasonably priced. Our hosts Jackie and Bernhard were very friendly and attentive. They both took the time to stop by our dining table to ask if everything was good with the food and our rooms and it was interesting to hear their story of how they ended up running a hotel in Switzerland. We felt very much at home and relaxed in this family run hotel.

    We would have loved to have been able to stay longer, it was magical!
    The views from the hotel were magnificent! The hosts, Bernard and Jackie, were lovely, friendly and had the best suggestions on things to do during our stay! The dinner was delicious and the breakfasts incredible! We would highly recommend staying here.
