    This is a great hotel - everything we needed and well-located.
    Well located, clean and spacious - and a great breakfast. Would visit again.

    Close to the beginning of the Hauptstrasse to old town.
    Like many older buildings, this hotel doesn't have an elevator, so be prepared to schlep your bags up/down stairs. Hotel appeared dated with old carpeting and paint throughout.

    Comfortable big room (Deluxe) Good choice breakfast Central location The 1950s juke box
    The street noise starting 5 am. Only for early rise guests. The tram rambles you out of bed otherwise, every 20 minutes, just when you have fallen asleep again. No elevator.

    Great decision!
    The staff was very friendly, the breakfast always hot and ready. And the variety! Hotel is next to a bus and tram station and minutes walk to the old town.

    The room and bathroom were clean. The water pressure in the shower is great. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center and the university. There is a tram stop opposite the hotel.
    Because of the tram stop, it's loud. The bed is not comfortable, and neither are the pillows. The reception is not always occupied, which makes it difficult to talk to someone if you are attending a conference and are gone during the working hours.

    A wonderful week in Heidelberg and surrounding towns. Thoroughly enjoyed day trip to Strasbourg.
    Location was in centre of city, great for getting around. Our rooms were spacious, clean and daily breakfast was more than adequate. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.
