Very nice family run hotel. Very accommodating and helpful.

I didnt eat breakfast there

Some people would not like the fact that there isnt an elevator. This is an old European hotel a block from the train station, which I enjoy.

Very good

Location next to train station was very convenient for us, its only a 5min walk. For a spontaneous short stay it was very good!

It was pricey (it has to be said that we booked spontaneously though). As the house is not renovated and we did not have breakfast there i would have expected to pay less.

Clean and convenient hotel, basics covered

The hotel is located very close to the St Pieter station, so if you arrive by train it's very convenient. There are also several bus and tram stops to the town center nearby (although it's just a 30-min walk to the historical center). The staff was nice and welcoming. The room was very nice, with a decent size, and the shower room was small but clean and convenient. Comfy beds. Overall, convenient, clean and well located, perfect if you intend to use the hotel only for sleeping and spend the rest of the day around town.

The room was on a 2nd floor with no lift, which for us was fine, but can be challenging for elderly people. It faced the train tracks, so even with the windows closed, you can hear some trains passing. Not a dealbreaker - we still slept fine and other than that it was quite silent - but it's something to bear in mind if you're a light sleeper. The hotel is clean and convenient, but quite basic overall - for instance, a kettle in the room or some hand soap would have made it much more welcoming. Good value for money but expect only the basics.
