Disappointing

a stunning location but lacks basic facilities.

The room was spacious, quiet and clean and the view from the balcony out to the ocean was stunning! Breakfast was served daily on the Veranda, between 8 - 9.30am. The owner Christiana greeted us every morning, and made us coffee, breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with a choice of yoghurts, fresh fruit, pastries cheese meats and bacon and eggs, and of course you could sit and eat and admire the view! Christiana was very happy to recommend places to eat and even arranged the transport.

We were disappointed as photos on Trip Advisor 2023 show a small rooftop pool and meals in the restaurant. Upon checking in it was soon obvious that neither existed. We booked Villa Felice for some quiet rest and relaxation after a busy and stressful year. It is situated 1.8km out of the town of Amalfi and is high up on the mountain, if you don't have transport, you are reliant on the local hourly bus service down into town. which is an experience in itself! The walk down takes about 40mins and is absolutely beautiful but does require a reasonable amount of fitness as there are literally hundreds of steps to negotiate and the ground is uneven in places. We upgraded to a deluxe room, it was very basic, old and tired and lacked facilities, for example tea, coffee, kettle, cups, glasses or bottle opener. The terrace was in all day sun, a little table and chairs were provided but no sun umbrella, so it was just too hot to sit out. As the villa is very isolated once breakfast was over there is no choice but to leave the villa for food and refreshments

Christina is an amazing hostess and the Hotel is lovely. The breakfast terrace is breathtaking.

A lovely place with magnificent views into Almalfi. We were the last guests for the season and Christina upgraded our room. We were treated with care and our breakfast was superb. There is a bus stop right outside the door that takes you into Almalfi and back. We highly recommend this place.

Great experience

We had two great nights. The room was very spacious and clean with a huge terrace with excellent view. Christiana was super helpful and helped us with our heavy luggage and gave us very important tips about getting around. The breakfast was great with a lot of varieties. There was a bus just downstairs going to Amalfi every hour.

Excellent hospitality - Cristiana helped us coordinate check in spite late arrival, was very friendly and helpful in explaining best transit options, parking, etc. - delicious breakfast (amazing coffee), gorgeous views, cutest French bulldog.

Cristiana was a fantastic host giving great advice on places to eat, where to visit and the best way to travel and even gave us 2 complimentary bus tickets to get to the centre of Amaffi. Breakfast was great, and the views from the terrace where we ate were breathtaking. The terrace at the junior suit was bigger than expected, and the view was exceptional. There was a mini bar in the room, and the toiletries were replenished daily. We would love to go back during the summer months.
