Passable but overpriced

The location is good, staff at the reception was nice, the rooms were modern and not yet worn-out. It would have been a nice hotel if they didn't charge you 240 euros a night (off-season) for a super basic experience with some serious cleanliness and food quality issues. Just a night before that I stayed at a neighboring 3* hotel for just 100 eur/night and it was much cleaner, had better amenities and better food.

The room was not very clean, there was someone's black hair in the shower (too bad I noticed them while taking shower myself) and lots of sand under the bed. The breakfast was so disappointing. Tomatoes were old and wrinkled, the jam was sour and spoiled as they leave everything including sour pastries outside during the night (which I believe violates some sanitary norms?). And anyway, 90% of buffet is pastries and cookies. You even have to pay extra for cooked eggs. Like why? Would these 3 euros really make a difference for the hotel? Why not just put an egg-boiling machine instead? I requested a top-floor room (you could tick that box while making your reservation) and they told me they did not get the request. So they tried to put me in a ground-floor room that even has its windows covered with opaque film as it is facing a road and the window is literally on the eye level of everyone passing by.

The shower in my room was excellent. The room good.

The garden where I had a fabulous breakfast, I have never before had such a good all homemade food.

Small room in Perfect location

Breakfast was good if rather too many sweet things - we both put on a kilo in 3 days! Very close to town and beech Quiet street Comfortable bed Books available was a nice touch Staff very nice Nice patio garden Air-con very efficient

Room very small No full length mirror in room Fridge gave off heat in cupboard that went into safe Was so warm that my passport bent and my laptop took 30 mins to cool down before I could use again
