Nice lodging at a nice price

I had a single room, very small as should be expected. Clean room and bathroom. it was everything I needed at a great price.

Good

Hotelo is a modern building about 15min walk from the main train station. Currently there is road/bridge constructions to navigate but once you know the location of the hotel (i.e., going through the fast food car park), it was easy to get to. Room use key pads instead of keys or swipe cards. Staff a friendly and helpful.

Hiccups + off location while staff was friendly

There were a few hiccups....... such as that I paid breakfast after staff recommendation but could not join in the end. That was disappointing really. Besides that staff were really friendly, willing to assist with finding my lost car key. Parking is reasonable at 12.50Eur per night - the location is NOT central and with construction it was difficult for me to get around. I had wished public scooters were available at least, but that was not the case either (probably as the location is a bit off inner city area). Such I was late both days for my seminar as I had to walk (run) for 2km ..... :( Would urgently recommend the otherwise professional and well-organized management to find options to have scooters available for guests (perhaps a cooperation with scooter providers to ensure 2-5 scooters being available at all times??) to remedy the location problems and, any issues with getting around to locations not close but not 5km away either such as the main station and seminar areas such as e.g. B_Fabrik at Bergheimer Str 104 !

This hotel met my expectations.

The room was very clean and I had good space for one person. The heating was great. I could use Wi-Fi without any problems. The location was a little bit far from the station.

Nice, Clean, Cheap. Not far from the tram stop

The room was really big. Not noisy: car park was right into my window, but I didn't hear any car arrived or departed. Even though the quantity of cars were constantly changing.

Somewhat walking distance from the tram station. Somewhat isolated from everything. Totally fine for alone person who can hop onto city scooter or tram.
