Good overall stay

Decor was cheerful. Staff was very helpful and extra friendly. Message staff had good technique. Night view at Roof Bar was good.

Roof bar (at the level without a roof) where we can see the night sky had counters that were full of dust at the ends. We had 2 drinks, Margarita was ok, Whiskey Sour had not enough whiskey.

Our stay was incredible. The staff was amazingly kind and accommodating for our family's needs. The hotel was stylish, comfortable, and right in the center of the town. We will absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic value for money

Hotel du Lac is in the heart of the old quarter. An easy distance to anything you want to see. Breakfast was good. But the best part is the staff, they are so kind and attentive. We went there on our honeymoon and they truely made it special.

Honestly we had an excellent stay. No complaints

On my first trip to Vietnam, it took some time to choose a hotel in Hanoi, reading small red books, repeatedly comparing the location and evaluation of Ctrip and Booking Hanoi Hotel. Finally, I chose this Hotel Du Lac Hanoi, and there is really no corresponding Chinese store name at present. Two days of check-in experience, prove your wise choice! A few small things feel the initiative and enthusiasm of hotel service. When we took a taxi to the door of the hotel, as soon as the car stopped, the two young men rushed out of the shop to help unpack their luggage until they were brought to the room after check-in, which did feel right at home for several of our foreign guests over the average age of 50, and felt at home about the hotel's affection for Vietnam. When we left the shop, the clerk took the initiative to help tidy up the luggage. When I heard that there was a problem with my Grab reservation to the airport, the clerk immediately told us to call us at a very favorable price! Moved by. The breakfast of the hotel is also very good, the restaurant layout is very warm, the restaurant is rich and has the quality, think of a not large scale hotel to be able to do this is precious! The clerks are very young and full of vitality, and English is good! The guests should look basically foreigners. The hotel is in the old city of Hanoi, close to Jianhu Lake. I asked the name of the hotel Du Lac, and the clerk said, French means to the lake. I was surprised that the hotel had only opened for more than a year and had such a professional service. If this is your first visit to Hanoi and plan to travel to Hanoi for a day or two, this hotel is highly recommended!
