Exceptional

Convenient and quiet location, clean comfortable rooms.

The staff were so friendly - and the location opposite the church is pretty also so convenient at only 3 mins from the station. The beds were comfortable and very clean. The hotel is a 2 star and a little shabby but well maintained and great value. Id definitely stay again.

Great simple hotel

Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, free luggage storage, short walk from station.

There was a smell from the bathroom. Also, not the fault of the hotel but there were a lot of beggars. Most of those asking for money were polite but often insistent and on a couple of occasions aggressive. One followed us up to the front door. The hotel is in a lovely position behind the church but at night I felt unsafe walking the last bit of the route because of some of the people following me asking for money. Not all beggars were a problem, I appreciate the difficulty people find themselves in but on 2 occasions although I am from a city I felt unsafe.

Excellent location, but breakfast needs to improve!

Breakfast was terrible the only good thing about it was the fresh bread. Very little choice of food on the buffet??? The location and cleanliness was excellent.

Excellent place for a short stay!

We spent two nights at the Hotel Saint Maurice, and it was a fantastic experience! In the heart of the city, the hotel offers everything you need for a short stay in Lille. The room was clean and cozy. The view over the church was breathtaking :) I highly recommend the hotel without any hesitation!

Location great. Room, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast, good. Room to leave bags on last day. Felt safe. Staff helpful and pleasant. Excellent for a 2 star hotel.
