Disappointing

Great location.

This time we did not even get beds (Room 201). The double bed was two smaller beds joined and they were not even the same height, one of the single beds was a sofa and the other was one of those beds given to soldiers in barracks (way too thin and short) with dangerous plates on one side. The staff did not want to change these beds or the room. Price was too high for these conditions. Even though they say that you can have anything you want during breakfast, this time they did not want to give us the quantity we wanted and it was not even a exagerated amount just for four persons. Very dissapointing this time.

Quirky central hotel

Rooms were really quirky, even though were were directly facing the main road it wasnt noisy at all. Lots of space and room wsa cleaned daily. the location was central and the hotel oranised transfers to the airport for us. There was someone on the desk at all times

Exceptional

If you visit Buenos Aires, this hotel is like no other.

This was one of the most excellent and exceptional hotels we have ever stayed in. The loft set-up with the bed and bathroom up stairs was lovely. The rest of the room was spacious and with a stunning view of the famous Avenida 9 de Julio/Obelisk. The location was superb, close to many famous central monuments (Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo district) and the staff were exceptional. Very patient with us when we had issues with the door (the problem lay with my ineptitude on that particular night). They were also friendly, welcoming and efficient. Breakfast is brought to the room, as standard, and the two young women who served were full of enthusiasm and charm.

No problems at all. Initially breakfast served in one's room seemed strange and slightly disorientating, having been used to buffet hotel breakfasts or simply going out, but this was not an issue with the hotel service, just our habits.

Disappointing

Excellent location and a good size room

Room felt very cold and stark unlike the pictures on booking.com. Mezzanine and tiny bathroom in proportion to the room were very impractical. Our expectations when booking were much higher and were not met..
