I booked a club level suite with a view and balcony and I arrived early (1:00 pm ish) and walked in, the kind lady at the front desk said they didnt have any available and to check back in 30 minutes to an hour, then I called an hour later and that lady was very abrupt and said it would be 3. So, I came back at 2:52 pm and asked to check in. I was told they didnt have club level ready and I said thats fine. I get to the room and there isnt a balcony, so I go back to the front desk and they move me to another room. I get there and its a king suite with no view but a balcony, I have my son with me and call to the front desk and ask for a roll away bed they tell me they dont have those and they leave me on hold for several minutes and I hang up, Im just over it at this point and they call back and send me to another room so I load up again and move to the third room. When I get there, there is a burn from a cigarette in the floor and the balcony lock is stripped out. I call and let them know and they sent a maintenance person. Then I was not given club access during my stay, I noticed the beds are thin coil spring mattresses, the balcony doors are hard to open and close and the walls are thin. You could hear everything. Its definitely not what I have come to expect from a Marriott and its not what I expect when I book 4 star accommodations. Then when I went to check out, I asked for a late check out and they told me they could give me 30 minutes and I asked about credit since I didnt get club access or the club level room, they told me that they would have to talk to a manager but they dont know what he will say. I will not stay here again and will absolutely file a complaint with Marriott.
