Shangri-la? Well named.

Check-in very easy. Liked the location within easy walking distance of the Central Piers. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We had a "Club" room that allowed us access to the Lounge on the floor below the swimming pool even after we had checked out on the day we left. Very pleasant and relaxing to go there for canapes before dinner, with a good view over the harbour. If you don't want to use the hotel restaurant there are plenty of others nearby.
