    Kapama Buffalo Camp is situated in the greater Kruger Park area within the Kapama Private Game Reserve. This luxury tented camp is set amongst tall shady trees with a seasonal river below, and combin (Read More)es old world charm with contemporary design. The lodge's tented suites are set on stilted wooden decks, built on an elevated riverbank. Each tents has wooden floors, leather and dark wood finishes and each is equipped with a minibar, a Nespresso coffee machine and a lock-up safe. Meals are à la carte, and breakfast and lunch are served under a canopy of thatch, while dinner is usually enjoyed in the traditional outdoor boma around an open fire. Kapama Buffalo Camp arranges game drives in open safari vehicles, accompanied by experienced rangers. For relaxation, guests can unwind in the pool. Guests at Kapama also have access to the spa centre and fitness facilities at a nearby lodge. The property offers a free airport shuttle service for scheduled flights into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport.

    We had three fantastic days at Kapama Game Reserve, Buffalo Camp. The tents were incredible and the food very good. The game drives were amazing. Our game driver did a great job. Very knowledgeable information given during the drives.

    5-Star camp in the middle of a gorgeous private game reserve. There is absolutely nothing I would change. This place is a gem!

    An exciting once-in-a-lifetime experience!
    Food was excellent. We appreciated the bottle of wine for our Anniversary, thank you. Our guides, Themba and Kenneth, were the best! Friendly, knowledgeable, sense of humour. They did everything they could to ensure we saw the animals we wanted to see. Highly recommend them!
    We found the lighting in our tent to be very dim. A hook to hang small towels and facecloths would be helpful. Shelves or drawers to put things would be more useful than the tub which we didnt use. I didnt like the window on the world in the shower!

    Great private reserve for Big 5 safari
    Jeffrey, our guide, was amazing! He made the safari experience such an unforgettable memory. Him and Brighton were wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable. We have been able to see all the Big 5. The staff was nice, the room perfectly clean, food was good and you get fed a lot.

    Difficult to write without cliche, but it truly was the experience of a lifetime.
    The Buffalo Camp provides a wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, and the food is creative and delicious. But the main reason for going is the chance to see the wild animals. We had never expected to be in such close proximity to such a wide range of African animals. The driver and tracker were exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable, and every excursion into the bush was a memorable experience. It completely exceeded our expectations. We were so so sorry to leave.
