    Situated in Amboseli National Park, Kilima offers spacious accommodation with views of the animal water pools and the Mount Kilimanjaro. Guided game drives and bush walks are offered at an additional (Read More) charge. The tents and lodges at Kilima Safari Camp include a 4-poster bed with a mosquito net. All rooms have a seating area and a private bathroom. Some include a claw-foot tub. Guests can unwind with a selection of massage treatments available upon request or enjoy a refreshing swim and relax on the poolside lounger. Activities on offer include a nature walk or a free lecture about Maasaj culture. In the evening, Maasaj dancers perform. Buffet and à la carte dishes are served at the camp’s restaurant. Bush dinners, including a night game drive and a barbecue dinner in the Amboseli plains, are also available.

    Very pleasant place and I would recommend it to my friends
    Kilima was just an awesome place. Easy to access, clean facilities. The food was out of this world. The staff are very friendly and accessible plus very helpful. The presence of all the chefs during meal times gave us the assurance that we were eating fresh food.

    Great location just outside the park.. warm and hospitable staff , beautiful view of Mt.Kilimanjaro from the breakfast tower and also from the cottage balcony that we had requested for stay...the sounds of the birds, crickets and insects , and hynaeas calls made us feel staying in the middle of the jungle and that was an adventure by itself..nice food ..warm and hospitable staff
    The approach road to the cottages could be made little better,..

    Loved our time at Kilima - the staff was extremely friendly and even gave us a room upgrade! We were very pleasantly surprised with the food - everything was delicious and super well-seasoned. Chef Edward came out to meet us as well. The location is great, right next to the entrance to the park. Just keep in mind if you come from Nairobi you'll probably have to drive through the park to get to the hotel and consequently pay the entry fee, which is valid for 24h). The hotel has a tower with beautiful views to Kilimanjaro and beyond. Check out our travel vlog from our experience soon on youtube @hobartsabroad. Overall, highly recommend it and would go back!

    Wifi only worked in the main area. We've been to other safari lodges with great reception in the rooms so that was a bit disappointing. Also, would suggest to add fans to the common areas (restaurant and bar).

    Lizards everywhere...lots of them even on the inside of the tent! Not great if you are scared of creepy crawlies.

    The perfect location outside Amboseli Park
    Staff was very nice and helpful. They were always ready to help the kids, especially at meal times. The location is ideal, just outside the main entrance in Amboseli Park.
    Internet is very slow in common areas.

    Great Safari lodge right at the entrance to the park. Great staff too!
    Absolutely fantastic safari lodge. Great staff- brilliant location and safari. We used the hotel driver and car and he knew the park inside out. We were the only people who saw lions the afternoon we went. Thank you Peter!

    - Nice Swimming Pool, but a bit too cold - 19:30 for Diner is pretty late for kids - No internet in the rooms, and too slow/weak in the Lobby/Restaurant

    Outstanding stay! Look forward to coming back with my family.
    Beautiful well-appointed room, well located just minutes from the park, extremely friendly and helpful staff, great drivers for the safari tours. I saw more elephants than I could have dreamed of in just two days. And the food was truly exceptional!
    Tent got very hot during the day and took a while to cool off in the evening - to the point that it was too hot to take a nap. Ceiling fans might help.

    The staff are fantastic. Super helpful, friendly and always up for a chat and teaching us Swahili. The location of the camp being right by the gate of Amboseli Park was brilliant and we loved that the tents were separated far enough from each other that you felt like you were in your own private lodge. The firepit with a view of Mnt Kili and the animals walking past is breathtaking. We could sit by the fire, having our sundowners and enjoy the sounds of the night for hours. We liked that there is only WiFi in the communal area and not in the rooms/pool/garden area as this allows you to properly switch off and take in the scenery. Would recommend and would certainly stay again.

    Some of the facilities are in need of a bit of a refresh and looking a bit tired, this is however massively overshadowed by the incredible scenery, amazing staff and location.
