    It is a good place to stay with restaurants and markets nearby and lots going on.
    The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable, the shower worked well and the air-conditioner kept the room cool enough. The staff were always friendly and helpful and checking out was easy.
    The building was being renovated, so it was quite noisy and they started early in the morning.

    We stayed for a week and grew accustomed to the small rooms to the extend that we started loving it.
    The location is perfect for shopping in Kowloon. Buses are frequent and the Mongkok MTR station is spitting distance. The staff spoke fluently English, were friendly and quick to respond. The rooms were minimalistic but was comfortable and had everything we needed.
    These were the smallest rooms we ever had and the building itself had us worried in the beginning. It seems though that it is in the process of renovation.

    This guesthouse is located at the heart of Mong Kok which makes it very convenient for us to travel around. As for the overall environment of the room, it is very hygienic and comfortable. Although the room is small, but three of us with our cabin size luggages can still manage. The toilet is very clean, and the water pressure is just nice for you to take a good shower after travelling around for the whole day. In short, my friends and I really enjoyed our stay in this place. This guesthouse is the right choice for travellers travelling on a budget trip, we hope Kowloon Mongkok 1812 Guesthouse will keep up with their awesome services and continue providing a safe, clean and comfort space for travellers from all over the world. p.s. the air-cond works very well too! thank god!

    I needed to stay on the mainland to get to the airport early, the hotel suited those needs.
    The hotel is in a great location, lots to do nearby. The owner was very helpful and attentive to my needs.
    There were a few tiny bugs on the bed.

    A good clean cheap (by Hong Kong standards) comfortable base from which to explore Hong Kong.
    Our room was a standard twin room. It was basic but clean. Both my son and I slept well enough. The air conditioning worked fine, the shower was good and there was nothing wrong with the wi fi reception. There was also a cold drinking water dispenser in the corridor. The guy at reception was also very helpful.
    The room was already paid for, so I was a little irritated when I was asked to pay a deposit on arrival (of HK$ 200 I think). I'd come straight from the airport and so hadn't got any HK$ yet. The guy at reception accepted a CNY 100 note instead. Got the deposit back OK when checking out.
