    Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. Check in was very easy and was contacted over WhatsApp with instruction. Breakfast was self-prepared in the large kitchen; food was provided and kitchen well equipped. The excellent staff in this review (apart from Antonio and the cleaning crew) is the ginger cat; Almara who were there to greet upon check-in.

    I loved the classical music in the beautiful living room and overall the decoration, cleanliness and good smells.
    Not enough vegan options at breakfast.

    Location was perfect for a short visit to Lisbon. Quite location and good restaurants nearby. Christmas lights in Lisbon were fabulous.

    The Chiado house is in an excellent area, close to everything. The staff was very friendly. The accommodations were clean.

    Great location, close to green and blue metro lines, easy walking distance to chiado, bairro alto, baixa, alfama Room was large, spacious and had heater to keep warm. Large bathroom and seating area too. Comfortable bed, bedding changed daily. Fresh towels and body wash provided. Breakfast superb - breads, cheeses, milk, juice, tea, coffee, eggs all available. Also relaxing common areas with classical music playing. In comparison to other properties we have stayed in in lisbon there arent too many stairs, just one flight to the accommodation then another short flight to our room. Some noise at night but not a problem as expected in central Lisbon (similar to other properties we have stayed at over the years)

    Not an issue for us but there is a cat on the property. Very friendly but some of the furniture is a bit scratched up. We did have to move some of the decoration in our room as it made a noise when we walked around the room but no issues

    Huge rooms in a fantastic location.
    It was our second visit to this beautiful old building in the middle of Chiado with huge rooms and an amazing shower. Simple but delicious breakfast and a friendly hotel cat!
    Beds could do with a couple of extra pillows (you only get one small one each) and there are no glasses or water in the rooms, you can just grab a reusable bottle and some glasses from the breakfast kitchen but you do need to remember. Some renovation works when we were staying were very noisy from 9am making it hard to do a last-minute work zoom.
