Lovely stay in a beautiful hotel with amazing views.
Loved the feel of the property. Beautiful high ceilings and many original features. The rooms were extremely spacious. The staff were lovely and couldnt do enough for you.
Only 2 minor negativesNo tea/coffee facilities in the room and lighting could be a bit better at the dressing table.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location
Beautiful location, stunning views and lovely rooms. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. We were only there for 1 night for a wedding but wed have loved to stay longer.
The only thing I felt could be little better was the hot drinks at breakfast. My friend who doesnt drink tea or coffee asked for a hot chocolate instead but was told that cost extra. Seems a bit tight fisted considering the cost of the room.

    Passable
Disappointing. Looks good on paper but reality is very different.
    The setting was beautiful.
The run down appearance and the stairs - up, down, along, up down again. The breakfast was not great either but the staff were lovely.

    Very good
Convenient and reasonably priced for a stay in a country house.
An old country house, with all the luxury you would expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Situated in the highlands it would be a great base from which you can explore the countryside.
The room standard was a little poor, with a lack of attention to detail. The bathroom door handle kept coming away and there was broken glass under the bath.
