Pleasant

Location was ok, on a steep hill, but not a problem for us. The staff was friendly, breakfast was simple but ok.

Place looked a bit like it needed some maintenance and a paintjob. TV not working, we asked one of the staff, but he never came back for it. Overpriced, especially the breakfast. You can find better places for this price.

Recommendation: Nice room, friendly and helpful host family, great food.

Many thanks to our host family for their kindness and help in getting train tickets. 2 people (including the grandpa who really enjoyed hosting) of the family took care of us (3 people) during dinner and the cook did a great job. The food in the restaurant with a view (unfortunately we only saw it during the night hours) was excellent, we got different curries and vegetables in great quantity. We liked our room with two floors, modern bathroom and heating and the beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby :) We would stay here again.

They were very welcoming, helpful staff. lovely large room with stunning view.

unfortunately at checkout we were unable to pay by card despite being told we could :-( There is a steep walk to the property which didnt bother us and you get the view to compensate but may hinder less active guests. other than that we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
