    Do not stay here!
    The location is good; close to 5th avenue, so central. The sitting area of our suite was well-decorated. Other than that, Im struggling
    Curt staff, hard beds, poor Wi-Fi, no bottled water provided in rooms, questionable cleanliness of bathrooms, a temperamental door lock (locked out of bedroom for nearly an hour), and toilets without toilet seats. But most of all, having 420 pesos deducted from an unexpected deposit that was taken upon arrival because my sons girlfriend got makeup on a face towel.

    Avoid if you want to enjoy your trip and keep your stuff safe
    Location was the only good thing about this place
    Do yourself a favour and avoid this place if you want to enjoy your holiday. I really wish we read the other reviews properly before booking. The place is very outdated and dirty. My toilet seat had wee all over it when I checked in and when I asked for housekeeping to clean it, they arrived and just wiped it with a rag and no cleaning product. I then used a baby wipe to wipe the seat and it was completely black with dirt . The WiFi didnt work and the shower water was cold. The beds were uncomfortable and the bedding and towels were of questionable cleanliness. The pool area is dirty and outdated and not at all like the photos, none of the photos are anything like the reality. After reading the reviews about hotel staff coming into rooms and stealing things from the safe and room, we kept our valuables on us at all times, I recommend you do the same if you unfortunately have to stay here. Upon checkout, they charged us a lot for some marks on a towel that was already dirty when we arrived and that will come off in the wash. But we were prepared for them to do this anyway as we knew they were sleazy scammers. Not sure where they got their 4 stars from, must have bought them with all the money they stole from guests

    It was clean
    The elevator was broken, we had rooms on the sixth floor and no one gave us a notice beforehand. Sinks and showers on the sixth floor run out of water. Staff offered sex work unprompted.

    Bright modern hotel with a few deficits if youve got mobility issues.
    Modern, centrally located hotel with very friendly front staff team. Conveniently located just one block from the quieter end of 5th Avenue. Close to Calle 38 and the great restaurants in that lovely part of Playa del Carmen. The king superior rooms are spacious with a couch and a balcony.
    It was hard to get hot water in the shower. There were motion sensor lights in the stairwell that didnt work very well. The stairs are curved and there are no handrails. The elevator was out of service during our stay.

    The smell in the bathroom is terrible WiFi connection sucks, so if youre thinking to work from the room, not possible or any other area in the hotel Staff is not that friendly or helpful The pool area is wack Cleaning can improve, specially because of the sand Mattress can be a bit more comfortable I general looks depressing the building and the rooms

    Noisy, humid, missing amenities and stained sheets and towels.
    The location
    There is no tea or coffee maker in the room. There is no bath robe. The walls are not soundproof AT ALL. It has been so loud in the evenings I have had to buy earplugs and have barely slept my entire trip. There is a bright light in the center of the complex that stays on until late in the evening and it makes the room impossible to sleep in without an eye mask. The sheets has stains all over them and the room is always humid. The WiFi barely works, sometimes. This room is not as advertised. The photos posted are not even of the same bathroom or bedroom. The layout is completely different.
