There was no Bath robes in our room. Our room was out of the way a little.
The bathroom could do with being replaced.

I like the view of the place and how conveniently it is located near the shrewsbury town.
I didn't like how the furniture's are old in the room that even the coffee table is starting to chip and and has stains on it.

Pleasant
Disappointing stay
Plenty of parking room
The restaurant was fully booked when we arrived so had to eat in Shrewsbury 8 miles away.
Large flies in the bathroom.
No lift up to the top floir and no one to help carry the luggage.
Complete power cut at 10.30 pm at night.
Breakfast food choice very limited

The bathroom and room was very clean
Constant knocking or tapping noise! Couldn't work out if it was outside window or in room
The couple next door kept us awake (not hotels fault)
We couldn't check in till 3 and wasn't told the spa would be closing at 4 when booked! The man was very keen to let us know he would be turning it all off at half 3 we didn't get there till 3! That was our plan for the night, NYD the jacuzzi was scorching hot!!! Way to hot, burned all my legs and my daughter couldn't go in because of the temperature, i also saw other people struggling to even put feet in it was also quite dirty.

Fantastic stay of 4 nights over Christmas break with 20 month old. Warm and very compfortable atmosphere. Will stay agai
Large spacious room for us with a 20 month old boy. Room was immaculate and it was freshened up every day.
Swimming pool- spa and gym facilities were good
Breakfast excellent and lady who served us on 4 mornings during our stay made us feel welcome and was professional and friendly
While trying to occupy my little boy, lady at hotel kindly gave him a balloon which really made his day.
Small things like:
Not enough coat hangers
No cups for water in gym- due to delay in delivery
Gym not opening til 8am on weekends

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, super clean and very comfy beds.
The pool was chilly! But apparently they were aware there was an issue with the heater.

I loved the hotel but they must improve there breakfast facilities to those travelling with pets
The breakfast was lovely, however we had dogs and there were no tables set up in the bar. Every day I had to ask then it was 3 or 4 trips backwards and forwards to get food etc
Pillows were very hard. There was no pool or wifibon second day I would imagine due to power cut

Dog friendly, lovely location and very friendly staff
The facilities available and location was attracted us to the property.
They unfortunately had a power cut just before we arrived so we didnt get to use the spa or gym, but given the circumstance the staff were super helpful and we still had a great nights sleep along with being able to explore Shrewsbury for the first time.

Very good
A nice hotel in lovely grounds, a fine place to stay to visit Shrewsbury.
the rooms were large and well furnished. The catering was good but we found the lunches more to our liking than the evening meals.
The staff were lovely and worked really hard to help you. The second day we had a mains power outage due to a pylon failure elswhere. This was really diffiicult for everyone but the staff stayed calm, kind and helpful throughout. They deserve a gold star. A generous refund was given of the second day of our stay.
We were put in a lakeside room on a different floor to our friends and found the access from Reception to the rooms very confusing with poor signposting. The lift had a sign written in one direction and the buttons in the opposite direction. The access door to the ballroom en route to the Reception was marked "Vacant". All very confusing until you got to know the layout.,
